Pastel "Carnival" Painting

In New Orleans, our houses vibrantly painted and decorated year-round with colorful flowers that are made by Mardi Gras Float artists!  This painting features a variety of faux flowers surrounding 3 small shotgun houses with semi 3-D elements made of laser cut wood that has been hand painted. The Tiles above spell "CARNIVAL" and are made to look our NOLA street tiles. 

Float Flowers: First cut from 1/16" acrylic in 2-3 layers, heat pressed and formed into shape, then primed, painted and sealed with a glossy coat of resin.
